Just like any other laptop or desktop computer, iPhone is no simpler than the a small computer which can fit inside your pocket and of course sometimes when the iPhone device encounter problems, you will have to restart your phone or even reset the whole program in order for it fix the issues.

In most of the cases when iPhone got freeze, the only solution that we often pop up our mind is to shut it down immediately, however, sometimes it doesn’t work as easy as it says, today, we 123inkcartridges will present you some tricks how to reset your iPhone in order to solve the problem, here are the steps:

Instruction:

  1. You could reset the iPhone by pressing the “Sleep/wake” button at the top right on the phone and also the “Home” button at the center all together.
  2. Wait till few seconds and you will see the screen go black, sometimes you may have to keep holding them even more after the power off slider appears. If this appears, continue to keep holding it.
  3. After you performed step 2. Wait until the whole Apple logo appears, and when it happen then you can unhold, it means that the iPhone is currently rebooting.
  4. Even the simple iPhone reset will not delect data from your device, however, you never know such thing can happen especially when you see your data got deleted, so it is highly recommended you to perform the “restoring from a backup” from your iTunes and then it will recover for you.

  1. Same logic, when your iPhone is stuck in reboot loop, in such condition you will not see the Apple logo, appear, then you could try the recovery mode:
  2. You USB cable must be connected to Sync your device to your computer but NOT connect to your iPhone yet, ONLY in this moment.
  3. Completely shut down your iPhone by holding down the sleep/wake until the top right slider appears on the top, slide it and then the device will be shut down.
  4. When the phone is off, press the home button and connect the USB cable to the dock connect, then the iPhone will be turned on automatically and appear an apple logo, still holding the home button until you see the iTunes logo appear on our screen, now your device will be in the recovery mode.
  5. If your iPhone does not have enough battery which you see the red empty battery icon, please let it recharge a bit and then restart the whole process.
  6. When the phone is in recovery mode, a window will pop up in iTunes and saying it needs to be restored.
