One thing that amazed us was the WP-4090‘s paper handling,with a built in duplexer (for printing on both sides of the page) and two trays with a total 330-sheet capacity,divided into a 250-sheet tray and an 80-sheet tray. that makes it competitive with lasers.We were very pleasantly surprised by the WP-4090’s high-capacity cartridges with a low cost per page.the cost per page works out to 1.6 cents for a mono page and 6.8 cents for a color page.That’s at up to 50% lower color printing cost vs. color laser.Plus PCL is preferred for business applications.However,the PCL and PostScript drivers don’t offer settings for photo paper,so you need to the Epson driver for photos instead.
The WP-4090‘s output quality was another pleasant surprise.thanks primarily to better text quality than most inkjets can manage,Graphics output is par for an inkjet, making it suitable for any business need, including PowerPoint handouts.As good as Photo quality,Although most offices don’t need high-quality photos, this can be a welcome bonus for those few, like real estate offices, that can make use of them.
