Pantum 2000 has Arrived in our Stock

Pantum may not a familiar brand for you; but it does have a solid backup. This Chinese printer manufacturer is owned by Seine Technology. Seine Technology is in the printer consumable industry field for many years, and now they launched their own printer brand, aiming to become a top five laser printer manufacture in the future. Seine Technology is also owned brand Ninestar, which is backed by parent firm Legend Holdings-one also owns Lenovo, the world’s no.1 computer maker. It may indicate that they will be corporate in the near future.



Pantum 2000 debuted last year’s Oct, and it is an ideal low end simple monochrome printer for small business and students. The price is $99.99. And when you take a look design and functions further, you will found the price is really attractive.

Pantum 2000 is definitely a capable workhorse in a compact size. It can print up to 20ppm in A4 and has a maximum monthly volume output of 20’000 pages. And the robust metal frame chassis is able to last for up to 100’000 pages; while nearly all entire exterior is plastic. Nice two-tone gray.
The printer uses the GDI printer language which means that it is compatible with Windows only. It has a 1,200 x 600 dpi resolution and it takes less than 10 seconds to print the first page.

It can fit on a storage shelf, though at 11.7 lbs ( w/o cartridge), it should be sturdy one.

The P2000 has no support for Wi-Fi connectivity, unfortunately.

Paper input/output: Paper tray accepts 150 sheets of 20-pound paper. It’s a bit on the low side even for a budget laser.
