At the place on line where I order my media supplies I could only find the packages with FIVE carts, However, The HP printer that I am using is the HP Photosmart 6515 and it only uses FOUR cartridges (no photo black.) This is very confusing and also I learned that the new carts from HP labeled XL will not give you the yield that the old carts would and this is controlled by the new “chip” and in my opinion this is to sell more ink, GREED, that is my opinion. Just like with a few exceptions the container of Ice Cream we think is a half gallon is far less.

Why HP decided to name the color and the black with the identical number is beyond me. There is a couple of other numbers on each cart but this is very confusing and I am sure aimed at the ink refill places. Again my opinion

      Hi Van,

Thank you for sharing your opinion and I agree some of your points, in most cases, the reason why the OEM cartridges are much more expensive than the compatible is because the brand, this means, you are basically not just paying for cartridges but moreover, most of your money going to their marketing, campaign, advertisement, and that is why the reason we believe we will be able to help customer to save their case by introducing compatible cartridges, it is more environmental friendly, more economical, and it doesn’t make much different to the OEM one. Our 4 years experience with huge customers basis can prove that what we thought was right !

My new Printer HP Photosmart 7510 (on exterior) but identified as Model C311a (under the cartridge lid). Why does 123InkCartridges.ca charge 53% more for new version 564XL vs regular version 564XL eg: $12.99 vs. $8.49? Appears to be based on HP OEM prices rather than your cost increase – it’s hard to imagine 53% more for a similar cartridge and it’s the same ink in both.

      Hi,

The new version has larger volume than the regular one, it is not the same thing even they shared the similar model number, you could also contact to our customer service team for more detail information, they will be very happy to assist you.

Hello Andrew – sorry to disagree with you – I found your toner cartridge prices competitive – but NOT for your 564XL ink cartridges by a longshot (see my Nov. 24-12 above email re 53% more for a similar cartridge.)I ordered and received 564XLs from one of your aftermarket competitors that ALL fit my HP Photosmart 7510, they not only print well – but equally important they print l-o-n-g – I paid $10.90 for Photo Black Hi Yield, $7.40 for Yellow Hi-Yield, and $40.90 for a 6 pack (1 each of Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow plus 2 extra Black total 6 pack). Total Order came to $59.20 (10.90 + 40.90 + 7.40) – no taxes, free shipping – arrived on 4th business day. $59.20 for 8 hi-yield cartridges = that’s $7.40 EACH for 8 x 564 XL hi-yield aftermarket delivered cartridges that work like a charm. Now perhaps yours have a chip in them – but I don’t need them as the cartridges are CLEAR – and I can see the ink levels in them by lifting the lid – or noting any reduction in colour quality – which has not happened once since I got rid of HP’s “starter cartridges.” Actually I won’t get rid of them in case the wonderful printer-embedded HP technology asks me to re-install the “starter cartridges” which lesson I learned the hard way on my previous HP C7280 All In One. I’m betting this comment won’t see the light on day on your website! Best regards, BeeJay

I I have just purchased ink cartridges from Costco. The first set didn’t work in my HP5510 although it says it is compatible. Had my friend bring me another set and same thing they don’t work. It is telling me that there is a cartridge missing or corrupted. Now I am in all this money and not sure Costco will take them back. Would like some. Idea as to what to do now. Please advise. Thank You
